DR. LUCKY’S BLUE REVUE brings a night of enchantment to the land of enchantment for one night only!  LUCKY’S BLUE REVUE is a grown-up variety show featuring burlesque, circus & variety arts, drag, comedy, and live music coming to the historic Civic Center in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Expect a night of fun-loving entertainment, talented local and regional vendors and performers, a full bar, and a night you will never forget!

Hosted and curated by DR. LUCKY, Award-Winning Female-Female Impersonator hailed a “Big Bad Bold Drag Queen” by Bust Magazine and a “Burlesque Expert” by NY1 & Big Think (New York City). Starring circus and variety artist FIREFOX with FireFoxProductions (Las Cruces), MAYO LUA DE FRENCHIE, inventor of the “quicker picker upper” burlesque move (Albuquerque, NM); belly dance temptress and producer of Sante Fe’s Zircus Erotique, MENA DOMINA; Drag Artist and dancing legend in the making JOHNNY HOLLY (El Paso); and channeling Lucille Ball and Ethel Merman from BETTIE MAE WIGGLE and MADAME PEARL of Burlesque on the Rio (El Paso).  And introducing THE HOT SPRING DANCERS (Truth or Consequences).

ABOUT DR. LUCKY’S BLUE REVUE

LUCKY premiered DR. LUCKY’s BLUE REVUE at the renowned music venue The Town Criere (NY) to critical acclaim. DR. LUCKY has over two decades of producing theatre and nightlife productions in New York City, Washington DC, and other cities across the United States, including “Ball Drop”, “Surrealist Burlesque” at Coney Island USA, and “Wanted! Wild Bandits of Burlesque” with 2017 New Yorker of the Year (New York Times) Julie Atlas Muz, that have been featured in the New York Times, AM/PM NY, The Washington Post, Time Out NY, The Village Voice, and many others. DR. LUCKY’S BLUE REVUE is a culmination of her decades-long experience producing and hosting variety and burlesque shows.  DR. LUCKY’S BLUE REVUE now seeks to bring world-class entertainment to Truth or Consequences to benefit the local community and to provide a platform for artists to flourish.

10% (up to $500) of the ticket sales will be donated to a local not-for-profit organization that serves the Truth or Consequences community.

ABOUT DR. LUCKY:

Dr. Lucky is female-female impersonator, performer, educator, and producer.  Designated a “big, bad, bold drag queen” by Bust magazine and a “Burlesque Expert” by NY1 and Big Think, Dr. Lucky’s unique comedic timing, over-the-top theatricality and glamorous excess have won her acclaim across the globe.  She has hosted the Burlesque Hall of Fame, New York Burlesque Festival, Toronto Burlesque Festival, Key West Burlesque Festival, and the Southwest Burlesque Showcase (six years) at the KiMo Theatre in Albuquerque.  She has headlined the Helsinki Burlesque Festival and all the festivals listed anbnove.

Dr. Lucky has been featured on NPR (twice!), Big Think, NY1, Time, The Toronto Star, and the documentary The Faux Real.  She has taught burlesque in the Drama Department at New York University for a dozen years, and holds a (real!)
